SP Sport Maxx tyres feature Dunlop's optimized blend of silica and high-structured carbon black tread compound moulded into a directional tread design that features large, independent shoulder blocks, Hydro-Paddle intermediate ribs and a stable continuous centre rib. These features work together to keep more of the tyre on more of the road more of the time, improving water drainage and maintaining constant road contact to impart more responsive handling, wet driving control and high-speed stability.
The tyre's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop’s Jointless Band (JLB) spirally wrapped nylon to provide high-speed durability while minimizing weight. The tyres feature a multi-radius profile with a rayon cord casing for high-speed capability and ride quality.
